Fiocruz Paraná promove evento de divulgação científica na Boca Maldita, no próximo dia 15. Ação integra atividades da Semana Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia
No próximo dia 15 de outubro, a Fiocruz Paraná promove mais uma edição do Fiocruz na Rua em Curitiba. Parte das atividades da edição 2018 da Semana Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia – que acontecem de 15 a 21 –, o evento vai invadir a Boca Maldita, no centro da cidade, e ampliar o diálogo da ciência com a população. Em um espaço de aproximadamente 200m², serão oferecidas atividades de divulgação científica que contarão com a participação dos pesquisadores da Fiocruz Paraná e do Parque da Ciência Newton Freire Maia.
Os visitantes serão recebidos com atividades e experimentos que abordarão temas como a prevenção de doenças causadas pelo Aedes aegypti, leishmaniose, células-tronco, parasitos e história do sequenciamento do DNA, entre outros. Os mais curiosos poderão observar uma célula em um microscópio, tirar dúvidas e registrar sua passagem pela ação nas redes sociais da instituição. Para completar, a equipe do Parque da Ciência Newton Freire Maia oferecerá atividades que incluem telescópio, gerador de Vander Graaff, experimentos com ilusão de ótica e clima e tempo.
“Pela primeira vez, como unidade regional da Fiocruz, estamos participando das atividades da Semana Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia. É um momento de muita alegria, já que teremos a chance de mostrar para o público de Curitiba a importância da atuação de uma instituição como a nossa regional e nacionalmente”, comemora a pesquisadora e coordenadora de extensão da Fiocruz Paraná, Patricia Shigunov.
