Facilities
Facilities for expression of recombinants proteins in E. coli and yeast, purification and analysis of proteins in solution by circular dichroism, fluorescence and dynamic light scattering. Major equipment are: 4 chromatographers AKTA Purifier, a circular dichroism spectropolarimeter Jasco J-815, a fluorescence/luminescence spectrometer Perkin-Elmer LS-55, a dynamic light scattering DynaPro NanoStar and a Monolith NT.115 for microscale thermophoresis experiments.
The protein crystallization laboratory includes an automated nanopipetor Mosquito (TTPLabTech) and an Olympus SZX-16 stereo microscope with a digital camera. In addition, computational resources for X-ray diffraction data processing and analysis of three-dimensional structures of biological macromolecules are available.
